I was fortunate to have time with both women business owners. I was the last client in for the night so one did my feet while the other did my hands. I didn’t catch their names and am a bit embarrassed that I’m describing them so impersonally when we had such a great conversation. I spent 1.5 hours with them and they did an excellent job. The pedicure woman was able to rid my big toes of ingrown toenails and I felt instant relief. She also gave me a killer leg massage. I asked her to not do any polish because my toenails needed a break. She did a very nice job cleaning up my cuticles, trimming and buffing my nails. I haven’t seen my bare toenails look that good ever. The manicure woman did a stellar job too. She cleaned up my cuticles and trimmed and shaped my nails exactly as I requested. She used 5 dips (2 clear + 3 color) because she saw that my thin nails need a little extra protection. And the hand massage was as good as the leg massage. If you’re looking for a clean salon where they take pride in their work, then you must get out here and support this family operated business. It’s owned and operated by 2 sisters and their husbands. They have 7 nail stations and 8 pedicure chairs with massage. They usually have 4 nail technicians on duty. There are a ton of colors with a large amount available in regular & gel, and some in regular, gel & powder. They will have your tried & true "go-to" in stock as well as most trends. They usually offer complimentary beverages. If they don't, it was simply an oversight...just ask! There is a 5th guy there named John that seems to have his own thing going on. I've never seen him waiting around for customers. He seems to come in for, communicate with, and work on a set schedule of regular clients. If you are one of John's clients, maybe you could write a review detailing what that is all about. I'm usually a short, square, neutral gal, but the owner is happy to embellish me when I get a wild hair for design - think festival or holiday time. Since I'm customarily boring, I always tell her I'm planning design as early as possible so she can schedule appropriately & I don't F Up the remainder of her schedule. She can do aaalllll the things, but if you wait until go-time to request some outrageousness, she may not be able to work it in. They usually get walk ins seated within 5-20 minutes. If they can't get you in , they won't lie to you and have you waiting around for an hour. I have two primary reasons for sticking with a nail salon 1. Quality work. 2. Real people. I never understood people who don't communicate what they expect or say, "whatever you think is best" & then complain when a service isn't what they "expected." Every tech at Lotus has wanted to understand what I want and has worked their best to provide. I'm 8 months pregnant and it was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep in getting my pedicure. It was worth every penny. I'm definitely coming back! I've been coming here for over a year and I have zero complaints. I've seen a number of techs and all of them do a wonderful job. Tracie is the sweetest and she's always very attentive to the clients. She remembers you by name and she even asks me how my daughter is doing I had one instance where I waited longer than normal and Tracie was very apologetic and made sure I was taken care of. You cant possibly complain when the customer service is wonderful. I've done walk-ins and appointments and I always receive my service in a timely manner. I just got my Christmas nails done today and I absolutely love them. I got acrylic on my natural nails and shellac. Upon entering the salon was bright, clean and very spacious with many mani tables and spa chairs. We were seated right away and out nail techs were Lee and Kim both were fantastic! Oh and the owner came to greet me personally as she knew I was an out of town customer. They offer a variety spa and pedi treatments to suit your needs. We did spa pedicures and regular manicure. I even had to come back as I accidentally bumped my nail and they offered to fix...without any issues as I know other salons aren't so accommodating. Pricing a tad expensive when gratuity is added but worth it for a "non-factory" nail spa experience. Will be back next month to try out Ty and Kim. Spa Shiatsulogic massage chairs line the back walls so they can service several customers at a time, cutting down on wait times. The technicians give each customer the complete pedicure experience with a spa foot soak, deep and relaxing massage, exfoliating scrub, and warm towel wrap. I also opted for the paraffin wax and mud mask for just $10 more and they advertise that their products are organic and paraben free. Plan to spend at least an hour here if you're getting anything beyond the mini pedicure, but it's well worth the time they invest. I walked out feeling refreshed and revitalized... AND they made my toes look pretty!! I was highly impressed with the services and will most assuredly be returning to Lotus Nail Spa for my next pedicure. p.s. If you save your receipts, 10th service is free.
